Love radio wave to Jupiter （木星への愛の電波）
９月２０日 空が透き通って鼻の奥まですぅ〜っとするような青空、見事な秋晴れ。
私のハトコの、５歳くらいから一番よく一緒に遊んだ幼なじみ、ミドリちゃんが、
私達の毎週一緒に踊っているサルササークルで、素晴らしい人生のパートナーと出逢い、結婚式を挙げました。彼のお仕事は、大学の宇宙物理学の先生。木星からの電波を中心に研究されている立派な、またお話しするとどこまでも面白い、深みのあるお茶目な方です。
ふたりが最初に手をつないだ、想い出のデートは、夜桜が咲く中、お祭りの後、２人でバナナのチョコディップを食べながら夜空を見上げて一緒に歩いた日。
きっと彼は、星のこと、宇宙の不思議を彼女にお話ししてくれたのでしょう。
そんなふたりの想い出を、ウェルカムボードにしました。
もちろん、彼らの守りの星、木星は、月よりも大きく輝いて、彼らを見守っています。
私の姉妹のように大切なミドリちゃんと、大好きな仲間である彼が、いついつまでもずっと同じ星を観ながら手をつないで歩いて行ってくれますように＊＊＊。
On this Sep. 20th, it became so beautiful day with a blue sky of autumn.
My cousin Midori who is the closest childhood friend for me just got married.
Her partner is a teacher at the university who is teaching and studying about Space Physics especially concentrating on a radio wave from Jupiter.
They met each other at the salsa circle we are dancing every week, he is such a nice, and fun guy to talk. Very deep interests & knowledge about a lot of things.
Their first date was, when they went to a night Sakura festival in Spring, and they walked folding hands (for the first time*) eating chocolate dipped banana, and looking up the sky together.
Of course he might explained about the stars to her.
I made that scene for their welcome board for the wedding.
Jupiter is bigger than Moon and shining for them.
Wishing they can walk forever together, holding hands and looking at the same star...***

Tick! Tack!...from the old time （古いものから刻まれる音）
屋根裏で眠っていた古いレコードを塗ったり曲げたりしながら再利用した時計も作り始めました。
『西部劇のテーマ』という父の古いレコードコレクションの箱から出てきたLPにはカウボーイを描いたり、
『恋に焦がれて』というロマンチックなタイトルのLPには抱き合う恋人達を描いたり。。これはなかなか楽しい！写真にある丸い小さな木片に描いた絵は、振り子時計の『振り子』部分になります。
挑戦と失敗と研究の日々ですが。。これが最終的になにか素敵なものになるといいなぁ。
I started to make also the clocks by painting and bending the antique vinyls that were sleeping in my attic. I'm drawing a cowboy on the LP album of " Western Themes" which I found in my dad's old vinyl box. Lovers for the LP album that has a title of "Crazy for you".... This is fun!
The round wooden piece in the pic is going to be a movement part of the pendulum wall clock.
A lot of challenge and failure, and studying...but I hope it will be something nice* in the end.
